Plan your week

Assign breakfast, lunch, and dinner to every day and see the whole week at a glance.

  1. 1Open the week view

    Launch Spoonly and tap the week tab. You'll see seven days laid out with empty slots for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  2. 2Add a meal

    Tap any empty slot and pick a recipe from your library, or type a quick note like “Pasta night.” The meal lands on that day instantly.

  3. 3Move things around

    Changed your mind? Drag a meal to a different day or slot. Your plan updates in real time, with no saving step — everything is stored on your device as you go.

Import a recipe from a link

Found a recipe online? Paste the link and Spoonly brings it in — ingredients, steps, and photo.

  1. 1Copy the recipe link

    In Safari or any browser, find a recipe you like and copy its web address.

  2. 2Paste it into Spoonly

    Open Spoonly, tap “Import from link,” and paste. Spoonly fetches that single page and reads the recipe from it.

  3. 3Review and save

    Check the ingredients and steps Spoonly pulled in, tweak anything you like, and tap save. The recipe is now in your library — no account, no cloud, no tracking.

Build a shopping list

Keep everything you need for the week in one simple list that updates as you plan.

  1. 1Open the shopping list

    Tap the list tab. Spoonly automatically gathers the ingredients from every meal you've planned this week.

  2. 2Add your own items

    Need something that isn't part of a recipe? Tap “Add item” and type it in. Your extras sit alongside the recipe ingredients.

  3. 3Check things off

    As you shop, tap each item to cross it off. The list stays on your phone, so it works even when you have no signal at the store.

Keep everything private

No account, no cloud, no tracking. Here's how Spoonly protects your data by default.

  1. 1Nothing leaves your phone

    Every recipe, plan, and shopping list lives in Spoonly's on-device storage. There are no Spoonly servers holding your data.

  2. 2The one online moment

    The only time Spoonly connects to the internet is when you import a recipe from a link — and even then it fetches only that one page. No analytics, no tracking, nothing about you is sent.

  3. 3Back up with iCloud

    Spoonly is included in your device's iCloud Backup when you have it enabled in iOS Settings, so your data travels with your device backup.
